CoAsia Receives the ‘70 Million-Dollar Export Tower’ at the 62nd Trade Day Ceremony
Date 2025.12.05
CoAsia (KOSDAQ: 045970, CEO Heejun Lee) announced that it has been honored with the ‘70 Million-Dollar Export Tower’ at the 62nd Trade Day ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
The Export Tower is awarded to companies that have contributed to the growth of Korea’s trade industry by pioneering overseas markets and expanding export performance. The award is based on a company’s total export volume from July of the previous year to June of the current year.
Following last year’s 10 Million-Dollar Export Tower, CoAsia has once again achieved significant recognition by receiving the 70 Million-Dollar Export Tower this year, marking its second consecutive year of being honored. In addition, its subsidiary CoAsia CM previously received the 200 Million-Dollar Export Tower in 2022.
CoAsia serves as the headquarters (HQ) of the CoAsia Group, a specialist in semiconductors and IT, operating a diverse portfolio of businesses: CoAsia SEMI (system semiconductor design solutions), CoAsia Nexell (SoC development), CoAsia CM (optical lenses and camera modules), ITSWELL (LED business unit), and CoAsia Electronics, a distribution partner of Samsung Electronics for over 25 years.
CoAsia CM achieved a turnaround to profitability in the first quarter of 2025, and other CoAsia Group subsidiaries continue to show steady performance improvements. According to the company, the primary driver behind this year’s strong export growth was the strengthened global competitiveness of ITSWELL, CoAsia’s LED business unit.
A CoAsia official stated, “Leveraging the trust and technological capabilities we have built in global markets, we will continue to expand our global competitiveness going forward.”
